Choral Programs for Kids

Caroling Kids/Twinkling Stars
Caroling Kids have been delighting Marin County residents since 1995 when these 5 to 7 year-old boys and girls (K-2nd grade) first appeared on the holiday scene as part of Singers Marin. Children sing and move to traditional songs of the holiday season, including Christmas, Hanukkah, and more. In the spring, these same children become Twinkling Stars, singing with creative movement to more fun songs, including musical theatre, multi-cultural and American folk songs, and popular standards.
Mondays, 4:00-5:00 pm at Mt Tam Methodist Church, 410 Sycamore Ave, Mill Valley
Fridays, 4:15-5:15 at Stapleton School, 70 Greenfield Avenue, San Anselmo
Starlights is the next level chorus for singers ages 8 (3rd grade) and up. The program offers training in voice, music fundamentals, and performance presence. The vocal training includes vocal technique, posture, breathing, ear training and singing simple harmonies. Students learn a wide range of repertoire from musical theater to today's popular songs. Performance opportunities in the community enhance the experience.
